Airy Terms of use
Short, and written to be read. Section 3 is the one that matters before you delete anything.
1. This agreement
These terms are between you and the individual developer who builds and operates Airy, not a company. By installing or using the Airy app, or this website, you accept them. If you do not, do not use Airy.
Airy is distributed through the App Store, so Apple’s own terms apply to the download alongside these. Apple is not a party to this agreement and has no responsibility for the app or for support of it.
2. What Airy does
Airy looks at the photos and videos on your iPhone to find similar photos, large videos, forwarded chat clutter, screenshots, Live Photos, exact copies and blurry shots, and lets you review them. It is free and unlimited. It does not clear the caches of other apps, because iOS does not allow it.
3. You decide what is deleted
Airy suggests, you decide. Review what you select before you confirm. Airy cannot know what a photo means to you.
- By default, photos of people, Favorites and the last 30 days are not pre-selected (you can change this in Settings), but a suggestion can still be wrong.
- Detection is automatic and not perfect: a photo can be grouped as similar when you would not call it similar, or missed.
- Deleted items go to Recently Deleted, where you can bring them back for 30 days. After that, iOS removes them for good.
- When Airy shrinks a video or converts a Live Photo, it saves the new version first and deletes the original only afterwards, in one request that iOS asks you to confirm.
4. Free, and the optional tip
Every feature is free. An optional tip is available and unlocks nothing. Tips are processed by Apple and are handled under Apple’s refund rules.
5. No accounts
Airy has no account system. There is nothing to register, sign into, or delete on a server, because nothing about your use of the app is stored anywhere but your own iPhone.
6. Your photos
You keep all ownership of your photos and videos. Airy claims no licence to them beyond what is needed to process them on your iPhone to provide the app’s functions.
7. Availability and changes
Airy is offered as it is. Features can be added, changed or removed, and the app can be interrupted for reasons outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Airy is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a deleted photo, a wrong suggestion or a missed duplicate. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and where you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.
9. Ending it
You can stop using Airy at any time by deleting the app, which removes everything it keeps on your iPhone.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are for the courts of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to use the consumer courts and consumer arbitration committees that apply to you, and any mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live is not affected.
